There are many norms and standards in production that have been developed over many years and are now applicable to quality control of ore, coal, batch and other bulk materials. To understand how raw materials comply with these standards, a bulk material sampling system is used. With its help, it is possible, without disrupting the technological process, to understand the key properties and quality of incoming raw materials or finished products. For this purpose, samples are taken from the technological process, which are examined after special treatment and preparation.

The correct selection of sampling equipment and its installation location will determine how effective and economical sampling will be in the process. The main task of plants is to collect raw materials in accordance with GOST and ISO, with the best accuracy.

  • Railway carriage

    The sampling device consists of a pipe into which the auger is connected, connected to an electric motor. When sampling, the auger sinks into the product, simultaneously making a rotational movement and filling the tube with the product. Hydraulic manipulator allows you to bring the auger in the right place above the car and lower it to a predetermined depth. After filling the pipe with product, the screw stops and the sampling device is removed from the car.

    The advantages of the system based on auger sampler:

    The principle of operation of the material sampling system in the fall is similar to the principle of operation of the sampler during reloading.

    The main difference between samplers is the design of the sampling bucket.

    In this sampler, the bucket is a trapezoid rotating around a vertical axis with an entrance slit for receiving material. Depending on the characteristics of the product, the angle of inclination of the bucket can be 45 or 60 degrees.

    Completely closed area with the selected breakdown provides its protection against penetration of moisture and dust.

    This sampler is equipped with a unique compact mechanical sample separation system. It is based on the use of an oscillating chute distributing the falling material between the receiving containers for samples. Due to this, the volume of the sample is reduced. Part of the material that does not enter the vessel is returned to the original flow. For a large volume of material, a rotary chute system is used.

  • Conveyor

    The Pendulum Sampler provides a simple and cost-effective way to obtain a representative sample of bulk material directly from the main process flow. Sampling is carried out directly from a moving horizontal or inclined conveyor. For more than 40 years of experience in design and manufacturing, samplers have earned worldwide recognition as the devices that best meet technical requirements.

    The system can be used as a single sampler for extraction from the conveyor into the sample container of the cross-section of the process material, or as a primary sampler (first stage cutter) in a multistage mechanical system.   • Overflow

    A cross-over sampler at a discharge allows sampling from a vertical stream of a falling product. Sampling is usually carried out in places of material transfer from one moving conveyor to another. The equipment allows sampling of various ores, coal, charge, limestone, sand, rubble, gravel, concentrates and other bulk materials as representatively as possible in conditions where installing sampling systems directly from a conveyor belt is impossible.

    Depending on the task, the crossover sampler can take samples in one or several stages. The cross-over sampler is installed directly at the transfer site and has a special bucket passing through the flow of falling material at a given speed and frequency. This allows you to sample material from the entire stream and to ensure maximum representativeness of the sample. The design of the sampling bucket engine allows you to control its movement and return to its original position.

    Single-stage bulk material sampling system - the exit trough of the primary sampler is connected to the sampling container, in which the entire collected product accumulates.

    Multistage bulk material sampling system - the selected product gets to the belt feeder, which forms the product flow for the subsequent stages of sampling, crushing and cutting. At the same time at these stages it is possible to use both pendulum samplers and cross-section samplers.
